SNK has just revealed Duck King's gameplay during the CEO yesterday. You can see the video on YouTube, on SNK's official channel.

Still breakin'

Even though it's been 28 years now since we could play Duck King in a Fatal Fury Game (Fatal Fury Real Bout 2, 1998), he is still absolutely breakin'. He's even put on almost the same outfit as in Fatal Fury Special, adding only a zip-up jumber under his orange hoodie. Judging from the trailer, we can see that he still has his most of his moves. Duck King can throw his Dancing Dive, but now with both knees hitting the opponent, as well as his Flying Spin Attack (aka the Air Rolling Attack), even though it looks like he can only perform it on a shorter distance as a combo finisher. His Turn Chop and Windmill are also making a comeback, looking very close to their previous incarnations. He will again be able to juggle opponents high in the air with his Break Storm, which looks close the version he had in Real Bout 2, and his signature fury of old, Break Spiral is also here to deal insane amounts of damage, but with style. And, probably more importantly, his little yellow friend P-Chan is back as well!

Some traditional moves were missing from the trailer, however, including his Head Spin Attach (horizontal rolling), his Needle Low seems missing, which allowed him to slide under fireballs, as well as his Beat Rush (probably as we have something better to perform combos in 2026...). It could well be that these moves are still here, and we simply not showcased in the teaser.

Some new moves have appeared, like one seeing Duck King crawling on all four, banging his head against the opponent's legs, as well as two fairly mysterious things. The first one is the Fever mode, which looks like a way for Duck King to activate some specific mechanics (a power boost of some kind?) and the other is him slapping himself, with the word "Bad" written on the screen. He does seem to lose okizeme whilst doing so, so it can't be just a candid thing. We'll have to see what this all means on the 27th!

Note that desk has released a video specifically on all the references SNK has made in the trailer to old Duck King appearances, and Rooflemonger has put out a an analysis video that details every single thing we could see in the trailer. This man seems to live in a dimension where the days last 62 hours, at least, seeing how much high-quality content he manages to produce seemingly instantly.
